Help Support Our Dad’s Recovery Journey

On April 28th—his birthday, of all days—our dad went in for surgery to treat a brain aneurysm. What was meant to be a carefully planned procedure took a sudden and frightening turn when he suffered a major bleed on the brain, and his heart stopped for several minutes.

By some miracle, he pulled through, and in true Dad fashion, he’s already made some incredible strides in his recovery. While there are still more steps ahead on this long road—rehab, rest, and ongoing medical care—one thing that hasn’t changed is his childish sense of humor. Even from his hospital bed, he’s been cracking jokes and making nurses laugh. It’s that spirit that reminds us daily of his strength and resilience.

This unexpected medical emergency means he’ll be out of work for quite some time. As you can imagine, this puts a huge financial strain on our parents, who now have to navigate not only the emotional toll of what’s happened but also the reality of mounting expenses and reduced income.

Our dad is the kind of person who’s always ready with a joke, a helping hand, or a listening ear. He’s the first to show up when someone else is in need—and now, it’s our turn to show up for him.

We’re reaching out to ask for any support you can give—whether it’s a small donation, sharing this page, or just sending words of encouragement. Every bit helps and means more than we can express.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for the love and support you've already shown. We’re beyond grateful.

With love,

Kirsty, Amie & Micheal
