Help Support Our Amazing Horner Band with Mr. Lorigan
Donation protected
My name is Aariv Aggarwal, and as part of my Eagle Project I am raising funds to support my former band teacher, Mr. Lorigan, at John M. Horner Middle School. Every year, Mr. Lorigan puts in countless hours preparing the school bands for concerts and competitions. But one major challenge he faces is moving heavy instruments back and forth between classrooms, stages, and events.
Although students try to help as much as they can, it is still a difficult and exhausting task for him. Many of the carts they use are old, worn out, and have broken wheels, making transportation slow, frustrating, and even dangerous. Instruments have fallen and been damaged just trying to get them where they need to go.
Mr. Lorigan also takes our percussionists to special competitions, where instruments have to be moved across large campuses, often without proper equipment. That’s why for my Eagle Project, I chose to build durable, easy-to-use carts for the Horner band program. These carts will not only make transportation easier, but also help protect our instruments and allow us to focus more on what really matters — the music.
Any donation, big or small, will help us make this vision a reality and give back to a teacher and program that gave us so much. Thank you for your support!
