Olajuwon Mitchell has been a staple of the San Francisco Financial District community for the past 40 years and the last of 39 shoe shiner left in the city. After being diagnose with carpal tunnel in 2023, and being attack by a dog a few months he is now facing financial hardship and is looking for help. Olajuwon has been well know for embodying the best of San Francisco, whether it be cooking his famous chicken soup for the homeless on any given weekend or rooting on his 49ers. After years of servicing the community he is hoping that we can return the favor in this time of need.
