Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,
We come to you during a challenging time in our lives. My mom, the heart and soul behind Canine Designing for almost three decades, recently experienced a devastating fall, injuring her C5-C6 spinal segment. The doctors are optimistic about her recovery but have informed us that she needs to undergo surgery in the coming weeks, followed by a lengthy recovery process.
My mom's world revolves around her love for dogs, her craft, and her commitment to her community. For 29 years, she’s poured her heart into her business and helping those around her. Today, her right hand is mostly paralyzed and both of her hands are in immense pain, rendering her unable to work.
Operating as the sole groomer at Canine Designing, my mom's unexpected leave has left her and her business vulnerable. The weight of these looming personal and business expenses along with the support she provides for my elderly grandmother at home is overwhelming, to say the least.
Growing up, I saw my mom's dedication firsthand. As a single mother, she often worked long hours and even now, she dedicates most weekends to her business. Her selflessness is unparalleled; always putting the needs of others before her own, whether it be family, friends, or the furry companions she adores.
We are reaching out to you for help. Any amount you can contribute will go directly to cover:
- Medical expenses related to her upcoming surgery and rehabilitation.
- Ongoing business expenses to keep Canine Designing afloat during her absence.
- Personal expenses to ensure she and my grandmother have their needs met during this period.
At this point, we aren't even sure what the medical expenses will be; we are just trying to plan for typical life expenses.
