My Mother had a heart attack November 17th and was rushed to the hospital. I took the next plane out of town from Atlanta to Baltimore when my father told me I needed to come now. I was not financially ready to make this trip out to Maryland this quickly. When I arrived she needed a triple bypass surgery. After the successful heart surgery doctors noticed her kidneys weren't working. Now she's receiving a kidney dialysis three times a week in the hospital. She's coherent and still with us but this will be a long road to recovery for my family.
My mother currently still in the hospital in Washington DC, which I drive back fourth to everyday to be by her side. She does perk up when I enter the room, making it feel as my love is medicine for her.
We have immense affection for her and I aspire to facilitate a seamless experience for my family. My father is providing unwavering support during my stay here, but I feel apprehensive about accepting assistance from him, knowing that substantial hospital bills are forthcoming. I am hoping to alleviate some stress with your aid. Having been in Maryland for two weeks now, I am currently facing financial difficulties. In addition to incurring expenses on gas for daily commutes to Washington DC, I still have outstanding bills in Atlanta.
Every dollar contributed will be instrumental in mitigating this situation and providing care for my mother. Thank you for any help given!
