Help Support My Medical Dental Mission Trip to Vietnam

Hi everyone!

This summer, I’m incredibly grateful to have the opportunity to join International Medical Relief on a volunteer medical-dental mission trip to rural Da Nang, Vietnam.

As the daughter of Vietnamese refugees, this mission is especially close to my heart. Growing up surrounded by the Vietnamese community here in the U.S., I’ve seen first-hand how language barriers, limited access to healthcare, and lack of education can deeply affect a person’s quality of life, especially when it comes to oral health.

I’m so excited for the chance to travel to Vietnam and help provide dental care, education, and resources to rural communities who often go without access to basic treatment or medication.

Being able to give back to a community I feel so deeply connected to, to play even a small role in improving their health and well-being is truly a dream come true. I hope to not only help where I can but to learn from the people of Da Nang, listen to their stories, and carry their strength and resilience with me throughout my journey in dentistry.

I will be trained and working alongside licensed healthcare providers to assist with patient care, oral hygiene education, and community outreach. Together, we’ll be traveling to rural villages to provide care in areas where dental services are extremely limited.

To make this mission possible, I’m hoping to raise $5,500 to help cover:

• Travel and lodging in Vietnam

• Dental and medical supplies for patients

• Transportation to remote villages

• Program fees through International Medical Relief

• Extended care and resources for the community

Any contribution, big or small, will directly support me in reaching this goal and helping to provide care for a community that means so much to me.
