Help Support My Grandma’s Recovery
Donation protected
My Grandma is one of the most generous and charismatic people I’ve ever had the privilege of knowing. She always puts those around her first before her own needs. Whether it’s helping people out or having an enjoyable presence, her deep kindness shows no bounds, leaving an impact on everyone she meets. However, my grandpa and her travel to Arizona in the winter to avoid the cold of Minnesota. In late December, her RV was burnt down. She lost almost everything she had but stayed strong through it.
A few months later, she went to the lake with some friends and got a bad cold. She spent a few days at home before the cold developed into pneumonia. When she went to the hospital, they placed her directly into the ICU due to her low oxygen levels and kidney failure. This severity required her to be intubated and need dialysis.
Through the 10 days she was hospitalized, there was improvement with her oxygen levels. She was taken off intubation and moved out of the ICU and into general hospitalization. With this, her kidneys have not started working properly yet. This makes her need dialysis every couple of days. Despite everything she has faced, she remains resilient and tough.
This GoFundMe campaign is a chance to give back the love and support to the person that has given so much to those in her life. Whether it’s a small donation, any ounce of support matters. If you can, please consider helping my grandma out with medical bills and a dialysis assistant. Thank you for taking the time to read her story. Your kindness and support will leave a lasting impact.
