Help support my friend Nfansu from the Gambia!

Hello, my name is Ryan and a while ago I had someone reach out to me on Twitter. He told me his name was Nfansu (@nfansubah68) and told me about his situation in the Gambia. I didn't know much about it but he told me that it is a beautiful place, however, he is struggling to feed his family.

He asked me to send money, and after verifying his identity through videos, I sent a small amount through Remitly. He even sent me receipts of the transaction, unasked. He was very kind and sent videos and pictures of his family enjoying the things they bought with my small donation, as USD and currencies with a similar strength can go a long way in the Gambia.

As I am not that financially stable but still wanted to help, I asked him what else I could do. He said that many people wanted to help but wanted him to have a GoFundMe (It was also one of the first things I asked him for when we were talking). It makes sense that many are skeptical of different money transfer sites, but I am glad I took a chance and helped out Nfansu.

To help him out further, I have created this GoFundMe in order to acquire funds for him and his family more easily.
