Donation protected
UPDATE : In memory of my beloved father, who chose to rest on December 31st, 2024-US, exactly New Year’s Eve here in (01/01/25 - PH).
It's hard to put into words the heartbreak I feel; it’s a sorrow that lingers in every corner of my heart.
This will be the most painful feeling that happens to me!!!
The emotional, mental, and physical toll of this loss is something I’m still navigating. I know that in time, I will find peace and moved forward. I poured my heart and soul into caring for him, wanting nothing more than to alleviate his suffering. Though there’s some relief in knowing he's free from pain, the heartache is profound and enduring..
I want to express my gratitude to my family(fathers side), my siblings, and especially to my husband, who, despite being deployed and far away, has stood by me every step of the way. His love and support have provided strength in this difficult time..❤️
To everyone who contributed to my GoFundMe, your generosity has touched my heart deeply. Each donation means so much to me as it will help cover the expenses for my father's medical bills and upcoming funeral, allowing me to honor his memory in a meaningful way.
.
To my friends, your messages, shares, and prayers have been a beacon of light during this time of darkness. I cannot fully express how much your support has lifted me, and I pray that each of you are blessed abundantly in return.
.
It reminded me of the love and kindness that still exists in the world. Your support meant the world to me.❤️
.
As I light this candle, I hold onto the hope that with time, my heart will begin to mend, and I will find peace in the memories we shared.
Happy New Year, Pa.........

Help Support My Father’s Fight for Life
Hi everyone! My name is Mae Salazar. I'm 29 years old and currently living in San Diego, California. I'm a proud military spouse and a mother to two beautiful daughters. Today, I'm reaching out to all of you with a heavy heart to share my father's story and seek your support during this incredibly challenging moment in our lives.
On December 27, 2024 (December 28, 2024, in the Philippines), my father, who has been battling various health issues, decided to get a health check-up. For the past few months, he had been experiencing a range of troubling symptoms, including difficulty eating, a sensitive stomach, issues with urination and bowel movements, persistent fatigue, and chest pain. After his check-up, the clinic urgently recommended that he be transferred to the largest hospital in his current area (Philippines) and admitted to the ICU due to his critical health condition as soon as possible. The doctors diagnosed him with dangerously low blood sugar, a urinary tract infection (UTI), internal fluid buildup, a weak heart, and other serious health complications.
My father's health journey has been a long and arduous one. Back in 2017, he was diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD), which led to multiple hospitalizations and surgeries. I was by his side during those challenging times, praying for his strength and recovery. Despite facing numerous obstacles, he fought bravely and emerged from those experiences with renewed hope. He made significant lifestyle changes to manage his CKD, but the recent deterioration of his health has made it increasingly difficult for him to maintain this lifestyle.
Now, at 59 years old, my father is in critical condition and facing the possibility of major medical procedures. The doctors have advised that these interventions will require significant financial resources, and I'm reaching out to ask for your help.
My father is a simple man with a big heart. He may not be perfect, but he has always been a selfless and caring person. Despite our family's challenges, he has remained a strong figure, showing resilience even in the face of emotional, mental, and physical struggles. He may not always express his feelings, but his warmth and kindness resonate with those who know him.
As we navigate this difficult time, I'm asking for any support you can provide—no matter how small it is. Every contribution will make a difference in his fight for life. My father deserves a second chance; he has dreams and plans for the future that he still wants to pursue.
Please consider donating to help cover the medical expenses that are piling up as we fight for his health. Your generosity would mean the world to my family and me during this heavy moment in our lives.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to read my father’s story and for any support you can provide. We appreciate every prayer, every share, and every contribution.
Together, we can give my father the chance he deserves to keep fighting.
With gratitude,
Mae Salazar
