My name is Alex Acevedo and this fundraiser is for my dad, Shane Acevedo. A few days ago he got told that he has Stage 2 throat cancer. To say I was in a panic state and my world came crashing down is to say the least. My Dad is my best friend, the reason who I am today and I have found my passionsbecause of him. My Father is the strongest person I know, has been through a lot throughout his life which has taught me how to be strong in life. We all love him so much and this is the worst news we could have received. I would take it from him if I could. It’s going to be a long road, that includes chemo and radiation, but I know he will come out on the positive side. Every single donation will go towards the medical bills and everything in between.
