Help Support My Dad's 7 Year Fight Against Cancer

Dear Friends and Family, I'm reaching out to you during a challenging time for our family. My dad has been bravely battling cancer for the past seven years, and his journey has recently taken a difficult turn. The cancer has spread to various areas of his body, including his back and nerves, necessitating intensive treatments. Currently, he is undergoing radiation therapy focused on his sacrum, which is expected to last up to three weeks. In addition to this treatment, his oncologist has recommended a new chemotherapy pill called Fruzaqla. While this treatment offers hope, it comes with a significant financial burden—a copayment of $3100 for every three weeks of treatment, followed by a week-long break. As a family, we are doing everything we can to support him emotionally and physically. However, the financial strain is substantial, so as a family we decided to reach out to our community for support. Any contribution you can make will directly help cover the cost of his treatment and alleviate some of the financial stress during this difficult time for my mother and myself. My mother has put a request in at her workplace to take some time off so she can be his primary care giver and stand by his side at this time when he needs her the most. Our goal is to reach $9,000 but again even the smallest contributions mean the world to us. We understand that times are hard. Just know I would do anything for my dad. He is a wonderful parent and a loving husband, and he is fighting every day to continue to be here for our family regardless of how much pain he endures.
