Help Support My Aunt Barb After a Brutal Attack

UPDATE
Dear friends and supporters,
We want to take a moment to update everyone on Barb's condition following her emergency surgery. After the traumatic attack, she suffered multiple strokes, causing severe swelling and bleeding on her brain. Thanks to the quick and skillful intervention of her medical team, she underwent an emergency surgery to relieve the pressure and stabilize her condition.
We are relieved to share that she successfully made it through the surgery, but she is still in a coma, and her recovery will be a long and uncertain journey. The next few days, and possibly weeks, will be critical as doctors continue to monitor her closely.
We can’t thank you all enough for your support, prayers, and kind words during this incredibly difficult time. Every donation, every message of encouragement, and every share of this campaign is helping more than we can express.
We’re doing everything we can to be there for her, and the financial support raised so far is already a huge help. It will go toward her medical expenses, rehabilitation, and the ongoing care she will need in the coming months.
We’ll keep you all updated as things progress, and we ask that you continue to keep [Aunt’s Name] in your thoughts and prayers. Please share this campaign with anyone who might be able to contribute.
With deepest gratitude,
Heather and Family
Hi everyone,
My name is Heather and I never thought I’d be writing something like this, but my family needs help.
My aunt Barb, a 69 yr old Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Aunt, a kind and loving woman who brings light to everyone around her, was brutally attacked and is now in a medically induced coma. The attack was sudden, senseless, and has left her fighting for her life in the ICU. After her heart stopped once, they were thankfully able to bring her back to us.
Doctors are doing everything they can, but her road to recovery will be long and incredibly difficult. Our family is reeling — emotionally, mentally, and financially. As you can imagine there are many costs ahead: surgeries, rehabilitation, trauma care, and the support she’ll need to heal once she wakes up. This will be a very long recovery process for her.
We are raising funds to cover:
• Long-term rehabilitation and therapy
• Living expenses for her once she is able to leave the hospital
• Legal fees if necessary as we pursue justice
My aunt is a fighter. She’s survived hard times before and has always shown up for the people in her life with love and strength. Now it’s our turn to show up for her.
Please donate if you can. Every dollar, every share, every prayer means the world to us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support during this nightmare.
With love,
Heather and Family
