Help Support Michelle Parkinson: A mum in need of support
Donation protected
Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,
UPDATE: Michelle has had her second round of RVD therapy. She received the news that her chemo is working which is awesome, however the doctors have now given her the myeloma grading and it is one of the more aggressive types that sometimes doesn't respond to chemo or if it does remission can be shorter. It's not the news we had hoped for but we are all so grateful that she is responding to treatment for now.
Michelle and Ryan had the chance to renegotiate their home loan and in doing so have bought a caravan because the most important thing to Michelle right now is making memories with her kids. They are a family that loved camping but that is now out of the question as Michelle's needs to protect her back and camping is too much of a heavy load. So a caravan it is! They have loved their first trip away together. The funds so far have bridged the gap in her not working. Raising 4 children on one wage is hard enough, let alone the extra expenses around treatment and care. We are looking to support her with cleaning and tasks around the house that she is not supposed to do as well.
Please continue to send all your positive thoughts her way and share the gofundme far and wide!

We come to you today with heavy hearts but unwavering hope as we rally around an extraordinary woman, Michelle Parkinson. At just 34 years old, Michelle is not only a devoted mother to her four beautiful children—Zalia 12, Emmet 11, Elara 9, and Myles 7 but also a compassionate midwife who has dedicated her life to helping others bring new life into the world.
Recently, Michelle received a devastating diagnosis: multiple myeloma, a rare and incurable cancer that has left her facing immense challenges. She has lesions in her spine, hip, and pelvis, and tragically, she has broken her T11 vertebrae. This painful condition means that Michelle will be unable to return to her fulfilling career, and her husband, Ryan, will also struggle to work as he takes on the role of caregiver for their family during this incredibly difficult time.
As you can imagine, the financial burden of a mortgage, daily living expenses, and the needs of four young children is overwhelming. This is where we can all come together to make a difference. We are launching this GoFundMe campaign to support Michelle and her family through this challenging journey.
Every contribution, no matter how small, will help alleviate the financial strain and allow Michelle to focus on her treatment and recovery. Your generosity will also help provide for her children, ensuring they have the support and care they need during this difficult time.
Michelle has always been a source of strength and laughter for those around her, and now she needs our help. Let's show her the love and support that she has given to so many in her life.
Thank you for taking the time to read Michelle’s story. Please consider donating and sharing this campaign with others. Together, we can provide the support Michelle needs to fight this battle and continue being the incredible mother and midwife she is.
With gratitude,
