Hi, my name is Michael Macias, and I’m currently working toward earning the rank of Eagle Scout—the highest achievement in Scouting. It's been a long journey, filled with challenges, growth, and some truly unforgettable experiences.

One of my favorite memories was earning my Wilderness Survival merit badge with three of my closest friends. We built a shelter together deep in a rock formation using sticks, rope, and a tarp. That night, we sat together under the stars in the shelter we made with our own hands, laughing and enjoying the adventure. It reminded me how powerful teamwork, creativity, and a little bit of problem-solving can be—and how rewarding it is to share those moments with others.

Scouting has taught me more than just outdoor skills. I've learned what it means to be a role model, how to lead with patience and confidence, and how to give back to those around me. It's also helped me learn how to manage my time—balancing school, Scouts, and the many parts of life—while still appreciating the little things along the way.

Now, I’m working on my Eagle Scout Project, and I’d be incredibly grateful for your support.

For my project, I’m building a custom wooden shelving unit for my high school’s cross-country team. Our team’s storage unit could benefit from custom shelving that will provide a dedicated space for foldable chairs, tables, and gear. An organized space for our team’s equipment will make everything easier to store, access, and protect. Coaches and athletes will benefit from a cleaner, safer, and more efficient system—something that will continue to serve the team for years to come.
