Help Support Mersiana, Onisia, Arcilia, and Karya Murni Foun

Hello, my name is Rachael, and during my travels in Flores, Indonesia, I had the privilege of meeting an incredible man named Martin. Over the course of my trip we hiked through the beautiful countryside, traveled to remote villages, and connected with the amazing

people who call this place home. It was during this time that I fell deeply in love with the hearts, pride, and loving nature of the people here.

One family that holds my heart is a mother named Mersiana and her two children, Onisia and Arcilia. Mersiana, who is 35 years old, has overcome many challenges in her life. Despite being unable to speak or work due to her condition, she is a loving mother who cares deeply for her children. Unfortunately, Mersiana’s husband abandoned her and their children, leaving them in a vulnerable situation.

Her eldest child, Onisia, is 12 years old and currently in elementary school. She has so much potential, but her mother struggles to provide for her education, food, and basic needs. Arcilia, Mersiana’s youngest child, is just 6 months old, and like Onisia, is facing hardship because her father has also disappeared, leaving them without support.

This family desperately needs help. Onisia’s school fees are overdue, and she needs money for her education. Arcilia needs milk and basic necessities. Without help, their future looks uncertain.

In addition to helping this family, I also want to support the Karya Murni Foundation, an orphanage located in the western part of Flores, Indonesia. They care for 116 children, many of whom have been abandoned or orphaned and some with disabilities. These children need food, supplies, and educational support, and I want to help make their lives a little brighter.

How You Can Help:

For Mersiana, Onisia, and Arcilia: Your donations will go directly towards Onisia’s school fees, food, and milk for Arcilia, as well as any other essential needs that may arise.

For Karya Murni Foundation: Funds raised will go toward supporting the 116 children at the orphanage with food, school supplies, and any resources they need to continue their education and grow in a safe environment.

The people of Flores have shown me immense kindness and warmth, and now I want to give back. I feel a deep responsibility to make a lasting difference in their lives, and with your support, we can help provide them with the opportunities and resources they deserve.
