Help Support Mental Health Services For LGBTQ People

Tax deductible
Rainbow Heights Club is the only agency in New York State dedicated to providing support for low-income LGBTQ+ people living with serious mental illness.

The recent escalation of political attacks on our community (especially our Transgender and Gender Non Conforming identifying members), highlight how important it is for our program to maintain and expand our safe drop in support space as well as our telephone support services.

This holiday season, we ask you to help us raise $20,000 to ensure the sustainability and expansion of our mental health support services as we continue to provide peer support both in-person and over the phone.

Will you consider donating $100, $50 or $25 today?

Your Donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

With your help, in 2025 we look forward to continuing the expanded services Rainbow Heights Club provides. Your support enables members to access peer specialists through telephone and in person services in support of their individual recovery plans.

Can you please help ensure that we have the resources to meet the growing need for services in 2025?

An important part of our programming is the daily meal, where our members come together and share a meal family style. During the pandemic, this wasn't possible due to safety mandates, but in August 2023, Rainbow Heights Club re-opened our kitchen and currently serves a free, daily nutritious meal. For many of our members, this is their main meal of the day.

We know that increased access to our services has a positive impact on our members’ wellness and recovery. In fact, our November 2024 member survey found that with in-person and telephone support from Rainbow Heights Club, our members have:

• Regularly visited their psychiatrist / therapist in the past year (97%)
• Taken their psychiatric medications as prescribed (81%)
• Better self-esteem (92%)
• Felt more hope (94%)
• Higher self-acceptance (88%)

With your help, we know we will be able to continue providing services that improve the lives and recovery of LGBTQ+ New Yorker's living with serious mental illness.

Will you please help us continue to improve the lives of our members by donating $100, $50 or $25 today?

Thank you for your support! We could not do this work without you!
