Help Melissa's battle with cancer

Hi, My name is Cindy my daughter Melissa was recently diagnosed with Cancer. Over the next few months she will have to travel back and forth to Hamilton for treatment. She has received one treatment of R-CHOP and this week they have changed to a stronger treatment R-EPOCH this is a more intense treatment and it is given everyday for 5 days. Followed by injections and blood work to make sure she wont need a blood transfusion.

Melissa is a young hard working mom she has a huge heart and loves to help others when she can. She was working as a Pharmacy assistant at Port Medical pharmacy before she got sick. She had to take time off work while she fights her battle. She could use some extra help from us at this time.

On Sept 27th she went to her family doctor with swelling in her face and neck it had been a week since it started and It had gotten hard to breath. She needed to figure out what was wrong. She thought it was an allergic reaction but it had gotten worse instead of better. When her family doctor seen her he sent her to the emergency. When she got to the hospital they ran some test did an x-ray and ct-scan. The scan came back and it was not what she expected to hear. The doctors told her they found a 6cm mass in her chest and she would have to be admitted. They would need to do a biopsy to get more answers. On Sept 12th the results come back from the biopsy and she was diagnosed with Mediastinal Cell B Lymphoma Cancer. She now has a battle to fight that will not be easy she is trying to stay positive for herself and children.
