Help support Mayra and Carmen

Hello, I am reaching out on behalf of my sister Mayra and our mom, Carmen.

Earlier this year, my mom and sister moved to Texas, hoping for a fresh start. Sadly, in August 2025, my mom Carmen suffered a terrible fall that left her with a broken femur and required emergency surgery. Since then, her health has declined, and her recovery has been extremely difficult.

My sister Mayra has stepped up in every way imaginable to care for our mom full-time. She makes sure our mom eats, gets out of bed, attends physical therapy and medical appointments, and has the daily support she cannot provide for herself. Without Mayra, our mom would not be able to receive the care she so desperately needs.

However, this has come at a great cost. Mayra has been unable to work while caring for our mom and is now facing serious financial strain. She lives alone in Texas, is paying a mortgage and utilities, and does not own a car, relying on others for transportation. Her savings have nearly run out, and she has put her own health needs on hold while caring for our mom.

We are asking for help to support Mayra during this difficult time. Donations will go toward her living expenses, bills, transportation, and basic needs so she can continue caring for our mom without the crushing weight of financial stress.
