Dear friends,
It is with the utmost sadness that I share with you the death of my nephew Matt’s dear wife Britany. Britany suddenly passed away after complications with childbirth on February 2, 2020. Words cannot express the shock and grief our families are experiencing. We are heart broken.
Britany was a beautiful person, loving wife, best friend, stepmother and so much more. Britany has touched so many lives. She lit up a room and was such a positive force. She was the missing piece in their lives, and I have never seen Matt happier.
Britany gave us the gift of a healthy baby boy, Jaxson. Matt and Britany also have 2 daughters, Vanessa 11, and Sophie 9, who miss their mother greatly.
Matt is on his own raising three children. He has had to take a few months off from work and will need to line up day care when he returns to work, ready or not. My hope is to raise $12,000.00 to help keep the family on their feet in the short term and provide a step-up for day care when Matt returns to work.
This is Matt’s new reality and as he faces the challenge of being a single father who will eventually have to return to work to support his family, hopefully knowing that his three children will be well cared for while at work.
