It is with broken hearts that we share the devastating loss of our dear friend, Marie Norme Pierre, a devoted mother of four beautiful children: Esthephanie, Billy, Renaldo, and Niama. On Wednesday, September 24th, 2025, Marie passed away unexpectedly from complications following a stroke. She was only 46 years old, and her passing has left an unimaginable void in the lives of everyone who knew her, most of all, her children.

On Tuesday, August 26th, while registering her son for school, Marie suffered the sudden onset of a stroke. She was immediately rushed to the hospital, where she remained in a coma in the ICU for several weeks. During that time, Marie fought valiantly while her family and friends prayed faithfully by her side. But ultimately, she developed a severe fever that took her from us far too soon.

Marie was a dedicated mother and a light to everyone around her. She lived her life with deep faith and contagious joy. She was faithful in attending Sunday services at Brooklyn Hope Church and was always ready to lend a helping hand or even encourage her children to join in, always guiding them and others toward a closer relationship with God. Walking into church, you would be greeted by Marie’s radiant smile and her signature warm hug, often followed by her cheerful “Hello baby!” or “Hello honey!” Though her primary language was Creole, she never let a language barrier stop her from worshiping, loving, and serving wholeheartedly.

Marie was a devoted mother who did everything she could to give her children a strong foundation. She enrolled them in sports, encouraged their participation in music school at church, and nurtured their talents so they could grow into well-rounded individuals. Wherever Marie went, her children were by her side.

Her giving spirit was evident in countless ways. One Easter, she single-handedly prepared a huge banquet to feed the entire congregation as an expression of her gratitude to her church family. She gave not because she had much, but because her heart overflowed with love and generosity. Marie was a mother, a friend, a caretaker, a protector, and above all, a woman of unwavering love and faith.

Now, she leaves behind her four precious children, who must face the world without their beloved mother. The road ahead will be filled with challenges, emotional, financial, and spiritual. These children will need ongoing support for school, meals, clothing, and stability as guardianship is arranged.
