Many of you know and love Ms. Marie, the dedicated owner and teacher at Magnolia Montessori in Holly Springs. She is an extremely kind and caring educator who makes every child feel special and valued. She has always gone above and beyond—not only as a wonderful teacher, but as a constant giver in our community.

• Every Christmas, she organizes a Giving Tree to make sure families in need receive gifts.

• She celebrates her students with thoughtful birthday and milestone surprises and notes

• She organizes joyful shows each year so parents can watch their children shine on stage.

• She has even given the most selfless gift imaginable—donating a kidney to a student’s mother.

Today, Ms. Marie was in a serious car accident and will be required to be in back brace for a number of weeks. Recovery will take time, and while she heals, we expect she’ll need support with basic things like vegan meals, groceries, and home services (cleaning, errands, etc.), all while ensuring her valuable school stays up and running.

This is our chance to give back to someone who has always given so much. Every contribution—big or small—will help ease her transition.

Let’s show her how much we appreciate her and surround her with the same care and kindness she’s always shown us. She didn’t request this (she’s always been more of a giver than a taker) but this seems like the most effective way to organize a community response.
