Help Support Marco Batista, A Dedicated Referee

HELP SUPPORT MARCO BATISTA & HIS FAMILY - A DEDICATED REFEREE WHO WAS SHOT WHILE ON UBER DUTY

Indiana Soccer Association together with Indiana State Referee Association, is organizing this fundraiser to support one of our Indiana Soccer Family members, Marco Batista, (an Indiana State referee) and his family during these very difficult and challenging circumstances.

The 48-year-old father of two children, (Stefano and Yara) who live in Fishers, IN was shot while carrying out Uber duties in Indianapolis. Since 2014, Marco has been licensed as a referee with U.S. Soccer through Indiana for nine (9) years. Marco is a dedicated referee and had just started his 2023 recertification four (4) days before he was shot.

The Batista family could use your prayers & support until Marco's full recovery whose family depends on his Uber and Referee income. He is currently in the hospital where he is receiving medical attention. Your gifts will help with hospital bills as well as day-to-day financial needs for his family.
