Hello everyone, my name is Ivan Ortiz. My wife Maddie Ortiz was critically injured in a devastating car accident caused by a drunk driver on October 16th, leaving her with severe injuries and a long road to recovery. As she faces multiple surgeries and the possibility of being transferred to an out of state rehabilitation center, we’re struggling with the emotional and financial toll. Maddie is a stay at home mom for our 3 year old son, and I am our family’s sole provider. I’m a licensed barber for Texas Tech Football and for a private studio. My income is based off 100% commission at this time, and I have taken off work to be by Maddie’s side during this difficult time since the accident. We are asking for help to cover medical expenses, travel costs, and basic living expenses as Maddie fights to heal and regain her strength. Any donation, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference and bring hope to our family during our greatest time of need. None of us are prepared for traumatic situations nor how to deal with what has been done to Maddie.
