Help Support Local Family After their Son's Serious Accident

Life can change in an instant—and for Weston, Jenny, and Dustin, that moment came last week, when 9-year-old Weston was involved in a serious dirt bike accident. He was airlifted from Trail, BC to BC Children’s Hospital in Vancouver with multiple severe leg injuries, including a broken femur, upper tibia and fibula, and damage to his knee requiring pins to hold his growth plate in place.

Thankfully, Weston did not lose his leg, but the road ahead is long. He will be in a wheelchair for 1–2 months and faces an approximate 6 month recovery that will require ongoing home care, pain management, and emotional support

As if that weren’t enough, just weeks prior, Dustin, Weston's dad, was involved in a motor vehicle accident caused by another driver, resulting in the sudden loss of his job. He is now unable to work as the family navigates their son's recovery and the demands of full-time home care.

Weston's mom, Jenny, is a stay-at-home parent, and with both parents now fully dedicated to supporting their son through mobility challenges, pain management , emotional support, and daily care, the family is facing significant financial strain.

This family has already endured tremendous losses recently, and they are now in urgent need of support.

Funds raised will go directly towards travel and accommodation for medical appointments, equipment and home modifications for mobility, living expenses, basic care and support.
