On May 14th, our family’s world was turned upside down when my sister, Lillian Martinez, was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma, a rare and aggressive form of bone cancer. Since July, she has been undergoing intensive chemotherapy, a journey that will continue until at least April.

This diagnosis has completely changed not only her life, but all of ours. Lillian is a high school senior who was supposed to be enjoying her last year, celebrating milestones, attending school events, and leading her cheer team as captain. Instead, she spends most of her time in the hospital, battling exhaustion and missing the chance to experience the joy of her senior year.

She loves school and deeply misses her friends, but due to being immunocompromised, she is unable to attend. Despite all of this, Lillian continues to inspire us every day with her strength, positivity, and determination.

Lillian is not only an amazing daughter but also a loving sister to seven siblings. She has big dreams. She wants to become a police officer and attend college after she beats cancer. We are starting this fundraiser to help raise money for her future so that when she wins this fight, she will have the support she needs to pursue her education and career.
