Help support Leslie in her biggest time of need.

Our mom, Leslie Castañón, has been in the hospital since Christmas eve. She is currently sedated and on breathing support due to a horrible case of pneumonia. She was admitted for a fall where she hit her head badly. The pneumonia, however, is the biggest issue of many she is currently facing.

When the doctors talked to us on Christmas night, things looks glim. Thanks to all the support, prayers, and great medical team, she is stable, but she still needs the heroic medical support of the intensive care unit because her condition is "critical" as she is gravely ill with this major pnuemonia, among other issues that have come as a result.

This is not an average hospital pneumonia inpatient stay. Our mom is fighting for her life with every breath and every heart beat. She is stable, praise God, but not out of the woods yet.

And whatever else comes up that we can't think of right now.

Any extra will go towards her church and/or the charities she is supporting.

Our mom has always been a giver. We hope she gets the chance to continue helping and giving to other because that is what makes her happy.

Her condition has improved since Christmas night and the day after. She is currently stable and hoping to come off sedation in the next couple days, but her battle will not be over.

UPDATE Jan. 2nd: the medical staff are talking about removing the breathing tube today.

UPDATE Jan 4th: the breathing tube is out. She is on the road to recovery. She will need physical therapy to gain her strength back.
