Help Support Leon — A Grab Driver with Big Dreams
After watching the documentary, so many of you reached out asking how you could help Leon. So, we’re setting this up — 100% of the money raised will go directly to Leon, to use however he needs: to help cover rent, support his family, or fund his next big step.
Here’s Leon’s story:
Leon is a Grab driver in Bali — the kind of guy who puts everyone else first.
He’s the eldest son, the quiet backbone of his family. His father passed away when Leon was 20. His mother now works in Singapore, and he hasn’t seen her in over 3 years. Most nights, Leon sleeps on the floor beside his elderly grandmother to keep her safe. He’s also helping his younger brother through university — just 6 months to go.
He works long days for around 50p per ride, often putting his family’s needs above his own.
What are we raising for?
6 months’ rent — to take the pressure off while Leon supports his brother (£216)
Flight & visa to the Netherlands — so he can take a job opportunity abroad and earn more to support his family (£1,000)
Of course, every donation — big or small — helps. Even £2 goes further than you’d imagine in Indonesia. It all adds up and gives Leon more freedom and choice in his life.
If you haven’t already, please watch the full film — it tells his story better than any words here ever could.
Thank you so much for the support. Let’s give something back to someone who’s given so much.
