Help Support Lawson and His Family

Over the past few weeks, our dear friends Nathan and Katrina have been living every parent’s worst nightmare. Their sweet, brave boy Lawson has been through an unimaginable medical journey—one that started with a suspected case of pneumonia and escalated into blood clots, a procedure that didn’t go as planned, and time on life support.

On April 24, during a procedure to remove blood clots, a clot broke loose and went to Lawson’s lungs, causing his heart to stop. He was without adequate oxygen for over half an hour and had to be placed on ECMO life support. Since then, he has made incredible strides—his heart is beating on its own, he’s breathing without a ventilator, and he's continuing to show strength and resilience every day.

A recent MRI revealed brain damage. His future remains uncertain, and his family is now navigating a road of healing, unknowns, and ongoing care.

Lawson’s parents have been by his side every minute, with his mom and dad staying in Vancouver and her mom caring for Kooper back home.

As reluctant as they are and said no to help, there are to many people who love them and are continuing to reach out wanting to support them. This fundraiser is to help ease any financial burden, time away from work, and whatever care or support Lawson may need as he heals.
