My name is Alana, and I am raising funds for a very special young woman, Kitty.

Less than a year ago, Kitty faced the devastating loss of her mum. Now, in the most heartbreaking of circumstances, her beloved dad has also passed away — leaving her with no parents at just 17 years old (soon to be 18).

On top of her grief, Kitty is now faced with the responsibility of covering her dad’s funeral costs. She is being cared for by a kind family friend and neighbour, but with no financial support and little help available from the government once she turns 18, she is facing an uncertain and very difficult future.

I am reaching out to the wonderful people of Great Britain to ask for help. Your donations will go towards covering her dad’s funeral expenses and providing Kitty with some basic support for everyday essentials such as food, bills, and other necessities — things no teenager should have to worry about while coping with such immense loss.
