Hi everyone!
I’m reaching out with a heartfelt request. I’ve been accepted as a volunteer at an animal shelter (1 week) and a childcare/school (1 week) in San Jose, Costa Rica, for two weeks, starting June 22nd. As a student with many advantages, I hope to give back to people and animals who are not as fortunate. This opportunity is a dream come true for me! While my family and I are helping to provide me with the funds for this trip, there remains a large sum that I must provide to go. Any help in doing so would be much appreciated!
Why I Need Your Support:
While I’m volunteering, I’ll have travel expenses to cover—flights, accommodations, volunteer fees, meals, and daily transport. Your donations will help defray my costs and allow me to focus fully on my volunteer activities. These funds will also contribute to needed supplies I will be bringing on my flight in order to help those in need.

Why This Matters:
The education of children is something that those of us in the US often take for granted. Helping educate children allows for me to share my knowledge and attention and create a bond with the youth of another country.
Animal rescue is a cause close to my heart. Many of these animals have been abandoned, injured, or displaced. By volunteering, I’ll be providing direct care and support, helping give these animals a second chance at a better life.
