Here’s our story!
We are Joel & Jenna Morgan. We live in beautiful northwest Montana with our sweet dog Daisy. Joel works full-time as a propane truck driver and Jenna as a 3rd grade teacher.
We have been happily married for almost nine years! We have been trying to grow our family for 8 years now. We have faced many challenges over the years: failed IUIs, multiple miscarriages, 3 failed IVF cycles, and two ectopic pregnancies that have prevented us from having biological children. Jenna had to have both fallopian tubes removed due to ectopic pregnancies (including life threatening emergency surgery in 2021 which Jenna is a miracle to be here today).
Joel also had to have surgery to try to improve fertility.
In April 2024, after time to discern, pray, and heal from 3 failed IVF cycles we decided to check into more information about infant adoption through a Montana private agency, Catholic Social Services of Montana (Helena). We attended the adoption training workshop last July and completed training hours, psychological evaluations, and extensive home study. We learned after attending the workshop the benefits of open adoption instead of closed adoption. This means that birth families select an adoptive family and continue to stay in contact as per an adoption plan.
In January 2025, we finalized our portfolio information and photo books that will be shared with birth families.
We have been officially in the process of “Ready & Waiting!” since February 2025. Birth mothers/families select the adoptive family by looking through profiles and photo books. We won’t know when or how long before we receive a call from our social worker that a birth (mother/parents) have selected us. Our wait for infant placement ranges from possibly a couple days, couple weeks, to months.
Adoption is also a big financial endeavor and if you would like to help with this we would be much appreciative. We have a separate account where all donations will help assist in the cost of adoption fees, attorney fees for when we can adopt, essential baby items, travel expenses associated with our adoption, and potential infant medical expenses.

An adoption journey can be a long and hard process so we ask for your continued prayers for us. We feel unconditional love is what truly makes a family, we have so much love to give, and we know that God has great plans in store for us.
