Hello everyone,
We come to you today with heavy hearts but a hopeful spirit to share a story that needs your support. Our beloved friend, Jamie, recently passed away, leaving behind a wonderful family, including his 10 year-old son, Theo, who is an incredibly talented hockey player.
Theo has shown a passion and skill for hockey that promises a bright future. His dedication to the sport not only keeps him connected to his father's memory but also provides a positive outlet during this challenging time. However, with his father's passing, the financial burden to support his hockey career has fallen solely on his mother, Melissa.
This GoFundMe campaign is aimed at raising $20,000 to help cover the costs associated with Theo's education and hockey journey:
College tuition: part of the proceeds will be allocated to ensuring Theo’s college or university’s tuition.
Equipment: Hockey gear can be quite expensive, and growing players need new equipment regularly.
Travel: Tournaments and games often require travel, which adds up quickly.
Miscellaneous Expenses: From coaching fees to maintenance of equipment, there are numerous costs involved.
Why We're Asking for Your Help:
By donating, you're not just helping one family but supporting a community effort to keep a young athlete in the sport he loves and excelling in. This fund will also ensure that Jamie's love for his son's sport continues to live on through Theo's achievements.
How You Can Help:
Donate: Any amount you can spare will make a difference.
Share: Spread the word about this campaign. The more people who know, the greater our chances of reaching our goal.
Encourage: Send words of encouragement to Melissa and Theo. They need all the support they can get.
Let's come together to ensure that Theo can continue to skate, score, and smile, just as his father would have wanted. Every contribution is a step towards keeping his dream alive.
Thank you for considering this request. Together, we can make a significant impact on a young life.
