Hi everyone, we’re K and V Grant, founders of The Grants Kitchen.

Though we now live in the UK, Jamaica will always be our home. Our hearts are heavy as we witness the devastation caused by Hurricane Melissa, which has deeply affected many of our family members, friends, and wider communities — especially in Mandeville, St. Elizabeth, and Trelawny.

We’re launching this GoFundMe to support our families and communities in need, and to do our part in helping Jamaica rebuild and recover.

Funds raised will go directly towards:

Purchasing barrels and covering shipping costs to send aid to Jamaica

Providing essential products such as food, toiletries, clothing, and cleaning supplies

Supporting on-the-ground relief efforts to meet urgent needs in affected areas

We are grateful to be supported by Love Shipping, who are helping us get barrels and essential supplies safely sent out to Jamaica.

Every contribution, no matter how small, will help bring relief and hope to someone in need. Together, we can make a real difference and show our communities back home that they are not alone.
