Help support Neil and Amanda Dougherty’s family expenses

Hi, my name is Katie, and I’m asking for your help on behalf of my brother Neil, sister-in-law Amanda, and their 15-month-old daughter Alice, who is currently in urgent need of a liver transplant. Alice was born with a rare liver condition and vein malformation (AVM) that has caused her liver to fail, and despite the doctors' best efforts, her condition has worsened rapidly.

Alice has been in the intensive care unit at UNMC for weeks, undergoing treatments and procedures, and is now waiting for a donor liver. Every day is critical, and while we are hopeful for a match, the financial burden on Neil and Amanda, is overwhelming.

As you can imagine, it has been an emotional rollercoaster for the family, and their family and travel expenses are rising quickly.

Alice’s spirit is strong, and she continues to fight every single day, but her family could use the support. No amount is too small, and every donation will make a world of difference.
