Help support education & a new home for Hyperkids Orphanage

Hello. My name is Paula and I am raising money for the Hyperkids Orphanage that is located in Kampala Uganda. Over the past two years, I have raised money or personally helped several orphanages in Uganda, including Marvin who manages the Hyperkids orphanage. I visited the orphanages in January 2024 and hope to return soon. Marvin, along with his brother, Moses, founded Hyperkids Orphanage 10 years ago. He currently has about 77 kids he houses and takes care of, plus he helps many of the children who live in his community. They currently rent a home with no plumbing or electricity where the rent is extremely high and the landlord is regularly threatening to evict them.

Last year, thanks to GoFundMe, enough money was raised to buy land in the Kampala district. The land has been cleared and prepared to build a home.

This year, they wish to use these donations to build a safe and secure home that can accommodate these children and future children who come to live there. Marvin has already identified the type of materials and company to build the home. As the money is delivered to him, he can initiate the various stages of building the home including the foundation, plumbing, framing, electrical, and finishing. Funds will also be used to pay for school fees which are required for each child to attend primary or secondary school.

Many of the kids are extremely talented dancers and have currently 1.8 million followers on TikTok @hyperkidsafrica23.

When I receive money in my bank account, I either forward Marvin the donations by Remitly mobile money or by bank wire transfer, depending on the amount.
