Outside of his activism within ACE, Edgar was an advocate of Tempo, an international association connecting film editors from around the world.
In addition to his work on expanding awareness and opportunities for international editors. Edgar was an educator to young aspiring editors and taught Advanced Film Editing at the Academy of Art University of San Francisco.
Edgar loved his work, family, friends and cycling. For those who didn't know, Edgar was an
ultramarathon cyclist, completing 25 double centuries. Please consider keeping Edgar's memory and vibrancy alive by donating to his family's support fund. Thank you!
