The Rios clan is reaching out to our family, friends, and community for assistance. My 12-year-old son Dominic Patrick Rios has started a very sudden and strenuous battle with leukemia. Our family is trying to stay in high spirits.

Dominic loves video games like any 12-year-old boy, but more importantly, he loves playing games with his older brothers Xavier and Alex. He loves to play sports and teach his sister, Abigail and Vivian how they can get better. He loves to read, paint and watch cartoons with his little brother Sebastian. Dominic wishes to be a teacher when he grows up, to help and encourage others.

We know this battle will be long, emotionally and financially taxing, as well as how much he could be missing out on as his body fights him. We will continue to fight harder together as a family.
