Hi my name is Kassie and on August 17, our family received the devastating news that my stepdad, Dmitri, was involved in a serious skydiving accident. He suffered multiple significant injuries, including several broken bones and serious injury to his spine. He is currently facing emergency surgery with more surgeries ahead of him and a long road to recovery.

This has been an incredibly difficult and unexpected time for our family. We are asking for support to help ease the financial burden that comes with emergency medical care, surgery, recovery, and the time he will need away from work.

Dmitri is a two-time Olympian, representing Kazakhstan at the 1994 and 1998 Olympic Games, and a six-time World Championship competitor. He trained in Kazakhstan and at the Lake Placid Olympic Center under renowned coach Natalia Dubova, becoming a highly decorated ice dance competitor. He now is a big part of the coaching team at Level Up Performance Skating in Salem, NH.

We are so incredibly grateful for all of the prayers, love, and support that have already been shown to our family.
