***UPDATE*** Many of the previous needs are getting filled now with supplies entering our area in bulk. Hallelujah! We are finding needs after a catastrophe like this are dynamic. Updated needs are

•Supporting neighbors who have lost everything (Homes, destruction, etc.) This is a major need.
•Gas for vehicles to deliver supplies, gas for vehicles to deliver food/water, etc.
•Buckets/lids for buckets for water
•Generator repairs/supplies for water pumping from creek for nonpotable flushing water for our community for the foreseeable future
•Expenses accrued and resources needed for pumping/distributing/delivering nonpotable water, supplies, etc.

Hurricane Helene has absolutely devastated our precious mountains, but we are Appalachian STRONG. Ross Farm and Appalachian Standard are our family businesses we are raising funds for, and we are located in the Asheville and Candler areas of North Carolina.

We had many reach out asking to make higher monetary donations to help support our efforts to help with disaster relief after Hurricane Helene in Candler, Asheville, Burnsville and surrounding areas, and for that, we are so thankful.

Here’s just a few of the many things where your generous donations will help us support our precious area:

•Gas for generators. We are driving it to stranded people in need. We’re also using a generator to pump creek water from our pond for the surrounding community to fill up containers of toilet flushing water (91 Holbrook Rd, Candler NC if you’re in need).
•Medical supplies (Disinfecting supplies, topical ointments, dissolvable Benadryl for first responders who are getting stung by yellow jackets and critters.)
•Water, water, water, water, water, water (For the foreseeable future)
•Food. We are working on tapping in where people need it. Some of our elderly community have not had access to meals and have lost significant weight over the past few days. Non-perishable/nutrient dense food items are so helpful.
•U-Haul rentals for transporting supplies
•Generator, batteries, lamps, power stations just to name a few.

Jesse Ross (Amy's husband, Lauren's step-dad and Appalachian Standard and Ross Farm's leader) will transfer these funds into our savings account and utilize them as needed for our Hurricane Helene relief efforts listed above and others as they arise as this is a marathon, not a sprint. We can’t thank y’all enough for your help. You have rallied around this area from all over the nation and we feel all of your love. Keep praying for these mountains and we will keep doing all we can from our farm for the community around Candler, Asheville, and as much of Western North Carolina that we can reach.

PLEASE reach out to us @appstandard on IG, FB, TikTok if you know of anyone in the Candler area in need and we will try our hardest to get there.
