Help support Catrina through her battle with Angiosarcoma

Hi, my name is Catrina Dansby. I’m a 27-year-old fiancé to my partner Tyree, with whom I share 3 beautiful children, ages 3, 5, and 5. A little bit about my story: After months of biopsies and testing on a tumor that was found in my leg, I was given a diagnosis of Stage 4 Angiosarcoma in July 2024. Angiosarcoma is a rare, aggressive form of cancer that can form in the lining of the blood vessels. Each year, 1 out of 1 million people are diagnosed. At the time of my diagnosis, my cancer had already spread to my lungs, which is called metastasis. This put me in Stage 4. My cancer is considered incurable, but I trust that God is a healer.
For my treatment, I started in August 2024 and completed 6 rounds of Doxorubicin, which, at the end, the cancer had still progressed, meaning it did not work. My second treatment was started in February 2025, and I had 2 rounds of Taxol, which did not work as well. During these treatments, I noticeably became short of breath with any little exertion. My heart rate was always in the 100s, and I could just feel it beating out of my chest. I have had multiple different tests run on my heart to figure out what is going on.
After having some recent scans, I was immediately sent to the ER on March 18th after being told I had heart failure due to the Doxorubicin chemotherapy, and fluid was building up on my lungs. After 8 days in cardiac ICU, I was finally able to go home. I felt fine for a while, but on April 13th, I started noticing the shortness of breath again, and my heart rate was extremely high. I was once again admitted into the cardiac ICU (currently still here as of now). The doctors have told me that my heart failure is end-stage due to my ejection fraction being only 10%. This also complicates things with my cancer treatment since chemo is toxic to the heart, so I am currently unable to treat.
As of today, 4/15/25, the doctors have told me they are basically out of options and that my heart is not recovering and is getting worse. They have told me it’s time to start thinking about palliative care to try to continue to manage symptoms or hospice. Their goal is no longer survival but to give me quality of life to spend time with my family for whatever days I have left.
I am asking for financial support to help me and my family so that I can take time off of work to enjoy whatever is left of my life with my family. Any support would mean the world to us. Thanks in advance, and God bless you.
