Help Support Carlu's Congenital Heart defect
Donation protected

I have met this lovely family and grown close to them in the past few years and would like to ask you to help them.
Lyndl and Nick Oosthuizen are a young couple who moved to Australia from South Africa, to make a new life working on a dairy farm near Cobram. They have a daughter Lynique 5 and Son Waldo 4.
In December a new son Carlu was born and at first appeared well.
The family’s circumstances took a sudden turn when on 18th of January, Carlu went into seizures and needed emergency transfer in a critical condition by Air Ambulance to Melbourne Royal Children’s hospital.
He spent a week in Intensive Care undergoing treatment and tests to assess his condition.
Carlu has been diagnosed with a Congenital Heart defect and Heart Arrhythmia which will require continued treatment and assessments.
Last week Carlu was rushed by Emergency Ambulance back to the Royal Children’s Hospital for another stay in his short life, to stabilize his heart rate.
The family has been on a work visa and do not have Medicare and were not covered for the huge out of pocket expenses for the Air Ambulance and Hospital care, and now have ongoing costs increasing dramatically, for regular follow-up treatment for Carlu.
Any donations to help this beautiful family, and assist with expenses would be greatly appreciated.
Please keep Carlu in your prayers
