Help Baby Patrick Heal: Support for Medical Expenses

Hello friends and family,

We are starting this GoFundMe on behalf of our dear friends Meghan and Mark, their son Russ and their little baby boy Patrick, to support them during an emotional and trying time.

In early June, Meghan and Mark welcomed their beautiful second son, Patrick James, into the world. Born with a congenital heart defect, the plan was for Patrick to eventually undergo surgery. After being home for a few weeks, Patrick’s heart weakened and required open heart surgery this past week at 8 weeks old.

Baby Patrick has already shown an incredible amount of strength and resilience and is making amazing progress post surgery in the NICU.

Throughout this journey, Meg and Mark have not left Patrick’s side, while also juggling caring for their toddler, Russ. While they were reluctant to ask for support, the truth is that the hospital bills are already overwhelming, and Patrick will likely need to remain hospitalized for quite some time after surgery.
