I’m reaching out on behalf of my dear friend Ashly, someone who has always worked hard and dreamed big — just like her dad, who has been one of her biggest supporters. Recently, Ashly’s father was detained by ICE, and now he’s being held at a detention center.

To even begin the legal process and have a lawyer take on his case, the family needs to raise $5,000 — just to get started. Without this legal help, Ashly’s dad faces the terrifying possibility of being deported or imprisoned for years.

Ashly’s father is not only the heart of their family — he’s also the person helping her stay in school. With him gone and legal costs rising fast, her future is now at risk too. She’s fighting to stay in college, chasing the kind of dreams we all deserve to pursue.
