A dear elderly friend of ours has recently become the victim of an extremely serious and cruel financial scam where all of her finances has essentially been depleted. Out of respect for her privacy and safety, we cannot share identifying details here—but if you would like to know more, please feel free to reach out privately.

Currently, she is without access to her own financial resources, and legal proceedings are underway. Unfortunately, we’ve been advised that it could take several months to a year before any resolution is reached.

In the meantime, my mom and I are doing everything we can to support her—covering food, housing, and other daily essentials—but we are reaching a point where we simply cannot do it alone.

We are asking for help from our community to bridge the gap during this difficult time. Every donation, no matter the size, goes directly to covering her basic needs and helping her stay safe and cared for.
