A few weeks ago, my daughter suffered a serious accident when she tripped and fell through a glass door. The glass caused two deep lacerations on her arm, severing an artery and causing extensive nerve damage. She required emergency surgery to repair the artery and additional stitches for her arm.

Since the accident, she’s been unable to use her right arm for most daily tasks, making it hard to work, drive, or manage life independently. She will also need another surgery in the hope of regaining some nerve function.

I live on the other side of the province, and while I’ve been able to spend some time with her, I can’t be there for the entire recovery. My goal is to help ease some of her financial burden so she can focus on healing without the added stress of lost income and extra expenses.
