Help Adam Lucier in his battle with stage 3 Cancer
Donation protected
Hi, I am one of the aunts for our nephew Adam. He is 30 and was just diagnosed with Stage 3 non-seminoma germ cell testicular cancer. He is starting his treatment on April 7th. He lost his mother a few years ago and his father several years ago. He lives by himself and has a few friends and some family members that can give him emotional support, but financially it's difficult. He has medical insurance, but the deductible is outrageously high before they kick in 100%. He does have a job, however, he was dismissed. Adam has to take unpaid medical leave since he used up his CT FMLA after breaking his foot. He just returned to work about a month ago from that incident and then BAM, got hit with this heartbreaking news and has to be dismissed from his job again. This means no income for his rent, medical bills, food, etc. People who have had cancer or know someone who has, knows the financial burden it causes. He needs to concentrate on beating this horrible disease. Any amount will be greatly appreciated and will help more than you know. Thank you for taking the time to read this and assist in any way possible. These funds will go towards his rent, medical expenses, utilities, food and any extra care that he made need. He is way to young and has so much more in life to experience.
UPDATE
Adam started his chemotherapy on April 7th as scheduled, he had to go everyday for the first week. His attitude is strong, he slept a lot. Adam is determined to beat this. He won't know how severe or how little his side effects will be until next week. Every patient is different. Please keep Adam in your prayers.
