Hi everyone! My name is Abby Woods, and I’m so excited to share that I’ve been given the incredible opportunity to join the VIDA Volunteer Group on a medical mission trip to Guatemala from January 2–10, 2026, alongside my best friend, Lily!

Guatemala is the largest country in Central America, but many communities still face extreme poverty and limited access to basic healthcare. Through VIDA Volunteer, we will work alongside healthcare professionals and a group of dozens of other volunteers to provide medical support, gain hands-on experience, and make a real difference for people in need.

This trip is an amazing learning experience for us as students passionate about healthcare and helping others. I’m fundraising to help cover travel expenses and program costs that make this mission possible.
