Hello, Pembroke!

My name is Sarah, and I’m a recent graduate of Pembroke High School. Today, I’d like to introduce you to someone incredibly special to me—my best friend, Benjamin Gibbs-Keller.

Ben is, without a doubt, one of the funniest, most compassionate, and hardest-working people I’ve ever known. He’s the kind of friend who texts back right away, offers a shoulder to cry on, and shows up with love and kindness no matter what. I’m truly proud to call him my best friend.

At just 18 years old, Ben has already faced more challenges than most of us can imagine. After a recent tragic loss in his family, he’s been left with the full weight of adult responsibilities: a mortgage, bills, caring for pets, and more—duties no one his age should have to navigate alone.

I’m reaching out to this wonderful community in hopes that we can come together and give Ben the support he needs to start this new chapter of his life on steady ground. Every bit of help matters and makes a world of difference.
