Hello, my name is Amarachi. I am creating this gofundme on behalf of my father and my four siblings. On January 24th, 2023 I was in town, visiting my family, getting off from what seemed like a regular day at work. When I arrived to my parents house, seeing everything with my two eyes was like a movie… complete shock. The first thing I saw was our garage completely destroyed with the vehicles and everything in it… then my dad mortified and out of tune with reality.. this was the first time in my life I’ve seen my dad crying. Then, I saw the rest of the house completely destroyed…At this point nothing felt or looked real, like I was in a movie scene. I am the product of immigrant parents who came to the US with nothing and worked hard to build something for themselves. Seeing what my father worked so hard to attain and achieve in ashes and ruins was heart wrenching. My father is the Primary provider for my 4 siblings, so this situation is very heavy.
