Yesterday, a family in our small community lost everything in a devastating house fire.

In just a matter of minutes, the home where this family of five built their lives was destroyed. What started as a normal day quickly turned into a terrifying race to get out safely. When the fire started, there was no time to grab anything—everyone—mom Kaitlin Miley , dad Charles Williams and the kids—were still in their pajamas, barefoot, rushing out into the cold night. It all happened so fast; they only had moments to escape.

By the time the fire was under control, everything they owned was gone. Clothes, shoes, furniture, school supplies, cherished family photos—everything was lost. As a small-town community, we know the strength we have when we come together. Right now, this family needs us more than ever.

I created this GoFundMe to help them begin rebuilding their lives and replace basic necessities—clothing, shoes, toiletries, food, and school supplies for the kids. It will also help care for their two dogs, who are part of their family and survived this terrifying ordeal.
